Regulatory Affairs Engineer: (Emissions Compliance, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx)

As a Product Regulatory Affairs Engineer, you will be responsible to oversee in-use and product vehicle evaluation testing as ordered by government agencies. This role requires leadership in a cross functional team setting including Engineering. The Product Regulatory Affairs Engineer will also develop tools for regulatory reporting, prepare and analyze regulatory reports, and drive product strategy based on these reports.

Oversee heavy duty in-use testing and product vehicle evaluation testing as ordered by government agencies
Provide insight to the development of new in-use emissions measurement testing protocols
Ensures test are carried out in compliance with external regulations and internal standards
Lead projects or processes as required
Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx developer
Expert Excel macros developer
Interprets and evaluates proposed regulations and advises management on impact to the organization
Compliance representative in industry forums
Collaborates with Sales to recruit eligible vehicles for testing
Optimize internal compliance processes together with internal partners
Compile regulatory reporting monthly – NOx, PM, and/or GHG reporting
Develop tools for regulatory reporting and department needs
Drive product strategy based on regulatory requirements
Evaluate performance of emissions control systems in real-world situations, and provide feedback to drive future improvements
Bachelors degree and prefer 7+ years of relevant experience
Background in Emissions Compliance/Regulatory Affairs
Experience with building data analytics tools
Experience managing small projects
Strong written/verbal communication skills to assist with writing government reports and documenting information
