Paradise Door and Service is a subcontractor in the construction industry. We help customers achieve their vision to execute high-end architectural entrances within agreed upon budget and schedule. End-users of past and current project include but are not limited to: Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Netflix, and Nvidia.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Transition projects from planning phase to installation phase

·         Lead the field team by setting clear expectations on safety, quality, process flow, and productivity

·         Oversee daily operations at project sites

·         Train and develop the field team to their fullest potential

·         Strengthen quality of workmanship

·         Demonstrate attention to detail by ensuring that field reports and correspondence are timely

·         Help develop and implement site-specific safety and quality programs

·         Monitor and ensure field team performance

·         Participate in weekly field review meetings to identify areas of concern and suggest solutions

·         Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Field Lead & Project Manager

·         Lead the pre-mobilization meeting for each project to ensure means and methods are solid and job site ready

·         Represent the company, with assistance from the project management team, with union labor and OSHA issues, disputes, and interpretations as they relate to the project

·         Communicate and send notifications on all product and install issues to appropriate parties including clients and project management team.

·         Review and help ensure the constructability of contract drawings and specifications

·         Collaborate with and maintain relationships with clients, GCs, subcontractors interfacing with Paradise scope of work, vendors, etc.

·         Actively re-prioritize multiple projects to execute each one in timely manner

·         Lead by example when called upon to strap the tool belt on and install or service a project. Demonstrate what separates our organization from the competition.

Qualifications & Skills:

·         Personal ethics that make you a leader through the respect you earn and caring you display about the quality you deliver

·         Ability to train others

·         In-depth understanding of architectural design, material procurement, and construction industry

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Functions effectively as part of a team

·         Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients

·         Dependable

·         Excellent time management and organizational skills

·         Strong decision making/problem solving skills

·         Proven track record of field leadership

·         Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office 365 products

·         Industry experience required

·         Member of San Francisco Carpenters union required

· Knowledge of CAD, Bluebeam, and other construction/Project Management software is a plus
