YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Mill Manager, you will be part of the Mill Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Leading the Macassa mill projects team to execute capital and operating projects through all phases including planning, engineering, procurement, construction management and commissioning;
- Developing project charters, scopes of work, schedules, budgets, safe work practices and procedures for all projects;
- Conduct risk assessments, HAZOPS and manage contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, while meeting planned schedules and budgets;
- Conceptualizing and managing mill projects to ensure compliance to all required standards/policies/procedures;
- Oversee safety efforts, risks, resources, quality assurance/control and documents related to mill projects;
- Identify systems and processes for optimization and improvement;
- Prepare proposals, trade-off studies, feasibility to detailed engineering studies, and engineering reports;
- Work and communicate with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate mill projects;
- Visiting job sites to conduct audits and ensure compliance to Agnico standards.
- 8 years of mill process, chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical, and/or industrial engineering experience is considered an asset;
- Experience in project management;
- Background in Engineering;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Your Work Schedule:
- Schedule: 4/3, or 5/2 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
