Overnight Customer Service Representative

This position is in the office
Schedule-Sun-Tues 6:00pm 6:00am, Wed- 6pm-12am
Pay $16.25/hour plus overtime
Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality customer service by accurately and efficiently processing customer orders. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will be crucial in evaluating and modifying orders to meet customer needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining complete and accurate records of customer interactions and order adjustments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive customer experience and be a valuable member of our team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receive and enter customer orders by telephone, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Evaluate and modify orders as required to meet customer needs
- Disseminate information regarding orders, products, promotions, and ordering processes
- Process various documents, such as load plans, bills of lading, order adjustments, and product complaints
- Print and distribute customer order forms to facilitate an effective and efficient ordering process
- Maintain customer files and records to ensure complete documentation and support for Customer Service functions
- Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience in customer service or order processing
- Knowledge of order processing concepts and procedures
- Familiarity with basic office equipment and machinery (PCs, copiers, fax machines, etc.)
- Understanding of products and promotions
- Proficiency in customer service concepts and techniques
- Basic PC word processing and spreadsheet software skills- Excel, Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to resolve customer complaints effectively and efficiently
- Strong focus on delivering high levels of quality and customer service
