TRPG is currently seeking to add a Tax Intern to our team located in the Leawood, KS office. As a Tax Intern, you will work closely with the tax team to prepare business and personal tax returns for our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare a tax return from beginning to end, communicate if any additional information is needed to complete the return, and be able to review the return for any common mistakes before submitting to the Tax Advisor for review. This Internship will run January of 2025 through April of 2025.

What you will do:
  • Works with the tax team to prepare tax returns
  • Provides timely, high quality client service
  • Handles routine tax questions, and works with managers to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
  • Completes research and special projects as needed
What you need to have:
  • College junior or senior pursuing bachelor's degree in accounting/CPA
  • Experience in tax software a plus, but not required
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Understanding of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in technology
  • Ability to multi-task, completing several tasks accurately and timely
