About Us: Aya Muse is a fast-growing and innovative fashion company based in Los Angeles, CA. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Accounting Manager to manage our daily financial operations. This full-time role requires an accounting professional with excellent communication skills and a strong background in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including payments, invoicing, receivables, and confirmations.
  • Communicate effectively with partners and internal team members regarding financial transactions and account statuses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial data, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring all payments and collections are handled efficiently.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain the general ledger, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage financial transactions, and safeguard the companys financial health.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  • Assist with audits and prepare required financial documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must be located in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Ability to commute to work from our offices in Burbank, CA, 5 days a week.
  • Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with hands-on experience using QuickBooks.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Previous experience managing an accounting team or working in a leadership role is a plus.
