Role Overview The Senior Manager is an experienced consultant with a focus on leading the delivery of complex projects, managing project teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. In addition, Senior Managers contribute to strategic portfolio growth and lead business development efforts. Senior Managers are expected to deliver high‑quality work, develop junior team members, and build strong market relationships. This position requires strong leadership and project management skills, and the ability to contribute to the company’s overall strategic goals. Responsibilities Deliver Exceptionally Lead and manage the execution of assigned projects, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Manage multiple workstreams and teams while prioritizing changing workloads. Develop and review project plans, budgets, and timelines using existing firm templates and contribute to enhancing and growing content repository. Understand project contracts, manage risks, and support successful delivery. Monitor project profitability, ensuring staffing and resource allocation align with budgets. Track, monitor, and report on KPIs to measure project success and elevate challenges or successes to senior leadership. Oversee vendor coordination activities, ensuring subcontractor and vendor performance meets client expectations and addressing vendor‑related issues that may arise. Grow Relationships Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively addressing their needs and delivering quality results. Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions related to assigned projects, including managing work plans, timelines, and deliverables. Identify and develop business opportunities, supporting go‑to‑market strategies and service delivery approaches. Identify market trends and innovations to refine the company’s service offerings. Develop go‑to‑market strategies by analyzing budgets, agency structures, and leadership priorities. Look for opportunities for collaboration across service areas and markets to strengthen our go‑to‑market approach. Manage a qualified pipeline and take strategic actions to advance opportunities through each stage of the opportunity lifecycle. Collaborate on thought leadership initiatives, including the development of content and participation in public speaking engagements. Learn & Develop Promote a positive culture within the organization that is aligned to the advancement of the Firm’s mission, vision, core values, and strategic goals. Oversee multi‑disciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and fostering professional growth within the team. Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members, providing feedback to enhance their performance and skills. Collaborate with resource management to allocate resources effectively, ensuring teams are equipped to succeed. Support in the recruitment process. Operate in a dynamic work environment and lead teams through change, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining team morale. Ability to travel as needed; this job may require 75% travel or more. Candidates may be required to undergo background screenings as required by clients for engagement delivery purposes. Continued employment is contingent upon successfully passing such screenings throughout the duration of employment. What our Ideal Candidate Looks Like Management experience within the Transportation & Infrastructure industry. 7–10+ years of consulting or program management experience (Engagement Manager level or above preferred). Experience with broadband, infrastructure, or large public‑sector programs highly desirable. Proven track record managing multi‑firm delivery teams and government clients. Strong financial management and project governance skills. Exceptional PowerPoint and consulting storytelling skills—able to synthesize complex concepts into clear, executive‑ready deliverables. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; comfort presenting to executive audiences. MBA or equivalent degree preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.
