Vice President, Finance

The Role
The Finance VP will report to the VP of Wealth Central Finance, leading the decision support team, financial architecture and profitability team, and playing a leadership role in multiple strategic initiatives. The decision support and analytics team lead analytics, insight, and governance for strategic initiatives. The financial architecture team is responsible for LOB and customer profitability for Retail and driving finance modernization. This role will partner closely with the Wealth Finance SLT, members of the Wealth SLT, and cross business unit finance teams. You will deliver strategic insights and analysis to advise decision making, measure and evaluate business performance, provide leadership on key initiatives, and lead and coach the team.
The Expertise & Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent and 15+ years of experience, or graduate degree with 12+ years of experience
- Experience building and leading finance teams in support of financial and strategic processes and initiatives with proven business and financial acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a strong ability to effectively influence others and build relationships
- Unmatched organizational and prioritization skills – ability to coordinate, think and act decisively and with a broad perspective
- Proven ability and flexibility to manage multiple high-priority, highly visible deliverables in a deadline driven environment
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven organization, prioritizes well under pressure, and takes ownership and accountability for your work and the work of your team.
- Experience effectively developing and empowering teams, delivering constructive feedback, mentoring team members

The Value You Deliver
- Drive SLT, Board, and Operating Committee analyses and presentations, including planning discussions with Wealth SLT and other senior audiences
- Retail Finance leadership for Finance Modernization efforts including utilization of various costing and profitability models
- Ability and passion for connecting and establishing relationships at all levels of the organization with proven ability to consult and influence key partners
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including the ability to analyze sophisticated issues, synthesize key points, and effectively communicate information in a concise manner appropriate for executive business decision making

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
