The client is a top-tier financial institution in Chicago that is looking for a results-driven Transaction Banking Sales Specialist to facilitate the sale of innovative transaction banking solutions. With this opportunity you will create portfolio sales plans that will help develop new customers and expand services provided to existing customers.

Please note this is an onsite position at the client’s Chicago office that requires travel domestically in the Midwest for up to 50% of the time.


As a Transaction Banking Sales Specialist, you will provide:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive portfolio sales plan aimed at acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing clients.
  • Sales Support: Partner with relationship managers and product teams to deliver tailored transaction banking solutions to corporate and institutional clients.
  • Product Expertise: Provide expert knowledge on cash management and liquidity solutions products.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive product offerings to advise clients and enhance sales opportunities.
  • Client Management: Support client onboarding, ensuring seamless integration of banking solutions and delivering top-tier service throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Relationship Management: Develop strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers in corporate and institutional clients.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years finance and banking Industry experience.
  • Experience with transaction banking including cash management and liquidity solutions products.
  • Expertise with developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Expertise with the sales process along with a track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Effective presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements around transaction banking.
  • Ability to speak and understand Japanese is a major plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically in the US for up to 50% of the time.
