Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator/Developer to join our team in support of the NASA Cargo Mission System.
This role will be responsible for managing, developing, and optimizing our SharePoint environment to ensure it effectively supports mission-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration:
Manage and maintain SharePoint environments, including site collections, permissions, and security settings.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and monitoring to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues, providing technical support and user training as needed.
Development:
Design, develop, and implement custom SharePoint solutions, including workflows, web parts, and forms, to meet mission-specific requirements.
Create and maintain SharePoint sites and applications, ensuring they align with organizational goals and standards.
Integrate SharePoint with other systems and data sources as required.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and provide solutions.
Develop and deliver training materials and documentation for SharePoint users.
Stay current with SharePoint best practices and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer) are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator and Developer.
Proven experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server, including custom development.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, lists, libraries, and workflows.
Skills:
Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, and Visual Studio.
Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
