You Will:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team cohesion.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements. Manage budgets, expenses, and resource utilization throughout the duration of the project.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.  Proactively address issues to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Partner with internal quality teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
  • Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.  Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree on Engineering, Chemistry, Packaging, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success as a project manager. This includes large-scale, highly complex projects with multiple interdependences. Success is defined as meeting project objectives on time and within budget.
  • A minimum of five (5) years in the packaging industry within R&D
  • Expert-level plastics packaging material science knowledge, particularly regarding blow molding and injection molding manufactured products
  • Proficiency with Project Management tools and software, preferably, Microsoft Projects, Teams, and Smartsheet.
  • Working knowledge regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to products made from post-consumer material.
