Position Summary

Argo AI Autonomous Vehicle Systems Engineer/Technical Lead Validation, Senior Consultant - Managed AI

Work you'll do
Deloitte is seeking to develop an open, extensible, and integrated end-to-end solution & service for delivering an agile and cost effective tool-chain and process for the AV (Autonomous Vehicle) development lifecycle. The solution has multiple modules that need to be brought together “as-a-service” through workflow automation. Key modules include: sensor data collection and management, enabling autonomous driver (AV stack) development, simulation and validation of the AV driver behavior in various test scenarios with playback, an automated model management environment (ML Ops) for fine tuning the driver DNNs, driver deployment, and field testing feedback to evaluate overall vehicle behavior prior to release.

Autonomous Vehicles and dashboard for monitoring status of the experiments (runs) & DNN efficacy metrics. The main purpose of simulation is to mimic field testing in a realistic way so that the synthetically generated data can be used in conjunction with field test data to speed up autonomous vehicle development at lower cost. These simulations will have two modalities – SIL (Software in the loop running with synthetic data) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-loop) with real fleet data. The dashboard is meant to summarize and visually present the instantaneous state (current or historical) of the AV development and measures against target acceptance criteria (perception, localization, mapping)

We are looking for a seasoned practitioner with experience in simulation and design in the Automotive space as relates to AV development.
