Ursus Inc is in search of a dedicated Senior System Test Engineer to spearhead the integration of AI driving systems within autonomous vehicles. This role entails supporting development testing initiatives, which include both functional and regression testing. You will be at the forefront of defining and executing systems integration strategies in collaboration with systems engineers, safety specialists, and simulation engineers focused on driving functionalities and AI integration outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a technical authority, you will concentrate on formulating and refining testing methodologies aimed at evaluating the driving performance of our autonomous vehicle software stack.

• You will enhance the identification of autonomous vehicle behavior through simulation and on-vehicle assessments by innovating tooling enhancements and meticulously documenting processes.

• Collaboration with Motion Planning, Perception, Prediction, and other Robotics teams will be essential to integrate your features and validate driving performance concerning safety and comfort.

• You will liaise closely with the Simulation tools development team to provide insights on the capabilities required by the testing teams.

• Implementation of dashboards and progress-tracking reports will be part of your role to boost efficiency through a metrics-driven approach.

• You will have the chance to mentor test engineers at the component level, reviewing feature design documents and fostering data-driven decision-making to enhance AI software quality.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.

• Over 5 years of experience in testing complex software systems or related modeling and simulation roles.

• Experience in mission-critical or safety-focused product development environments.

• Familiarity with git, CI environments, Python, Jupyter, and Linux operating systems.

• Proven experience in designing and executing test strategies that can be scaled across multiple testing teams.

• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, and the development of data-driven metrics.
