Role Overview
As a vital member of our team, you will engage in the development and implementation of cutting-edge hardware and software solutions that aim to transform the logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and evaluation of our camera-based computer vision systems, from initial concept through to testing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to fine-tune optical specifications for our camera and lighting systems.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of optical models, both at the lens and system levels, utilizing advanced simulation software.
  • Establish laboratory testing protocols and metrics for assessing image quality across lenses, modules, and camera enclosures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure optical components and assemblies are produced according to precise specifications.
Qualifications
  • 1-3+ years of experience in the design, construction, and validation of imaging optics on a large scale.
  • Proficient in testing and validating lens and illumination systems.
  • Experience with optical simulation tools such as Zemax, LightTools, FRED, TracePro, or CODEV.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and validating optics in both prototype and production environments.
  • Degree in Optical Science/Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in lens selection, design, and tolerance assessment.
  • Familiarity with mass production processes for optical devices is preferred.
  • Background in CMOS Image sensors or related imaging technologies is advantageous.
