Field Service Representative

Dürr Megtec is a leading global supplier of environmental solutions and engineered products tailored to meet customers' industrial process requirements. We offer a complete portfolio of air pollution control technologies, drying and curing systems, and material handling equipment.
Position Summary:
The Field Service Representative will travel extensively commissioning, maintaining, and repairing industrial dryers, regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO), electrostatic precipitators (ESP), and related equipment. This position will also be responsible for preventive maintenance on products manufactured by other suppliers.
Location: Open to anywhere in the U.S. within 1 hour from a major airport.
Requirements
Position Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word required
- Ability to work with and understand electricity, pneumatics, electronics, mechanics, airflows, gas flow, HVAC and drives, as well as a proven mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of PLC programming, understanding of HMI's and VFD drives, as well as industrial electromechanical experience
- Ability to be a team player and work well under pressure
- Associates Degree in Electromechanical Technology or related field.
- 3-5 years servicing Durr MEGTEC equipment or related industrial equipment or related field.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and be able to pass a drug test at any time during employment.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook
No direct supervisory duties, but individual will be responsible for some site supervision while on assignment.
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to:
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary based on need. May be required to work holidays or weekends. Overtime may be required.
Travel:
This position requires frequent travel, more than 90%. Travel can be both overnight and during the business day, and can be both local and international.
