Primary Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining company inspection reports.
- Follow the QA/QC management system at sites.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Use QA/QC programs and/or forms to document quality records.
- Responsible for performing all aspects of Electrical inspections activities with minimum supervision.
- Review all construction documents.
- Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure code, testing, and job specific requirements are met.
- Monitor operations and conduct required inspections to resolve quality related issues with internal workers and subcontractors.
- Material compliance of services and products adhere to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Ensure electrical installations use best practices and meet standards required.
- Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards, client contracts, and Federal and State law.
- Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
- Provide appropriate feedback regarding QA/QC matters.
- Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.
- Collating test data and drafting quality reports.
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
- Engage in quality calibrations and internal audits in a professional manner.
- Communicate with site management and subcontractors the requirements of quality.
- Ensure measuring equipment is functioning properly and call for repairs where equipment is faulty.
- Verify the sites comply with quality codes and standards.
- Witness testing and ensure documentation is in order.
- Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed in a timely manner meeting project deadline.
- Ensure timely completion of paperwork and turnover documents are in order.
- Inspect remediation processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year experience as an Inspection or Quality Technician.
- Electrical knowledge including AC/DC, basic test equipment.
- Computer skills especially in the use Microsoft Word, Excel, Inventory Management Systems, and ability to manage files and records effectively.
- OSHA 10 certification
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good reporting and analysis skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to work productively with limited supervision.
- Exemplary standards of integrity, honor, safety, management, ethics, quality and productivity.
- Exhibit behaviors consistent with strong. leadership and accountability.
