Job Description:

The Controls Project Engineer works with the Controls Engineering Team to design and implement control systems on Control Projects. Controls Project Engineers design/plan control projects by selecting the required components, writing sequences, creating control submittals/drawings, creating programs/configurations and completing graphic packages. The Controls Engineering Team provides technical support to Customers, the commercial service team, and control technicians/installers. The engineering team also tests new products including controllers, sensors, etc. ensuring projects are implemented with the best possible products and sequences.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience within Controls Engineering, Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc
  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer
  • Experience with Visio (or other PM Software Tools)
  • Experience with Mechanical HVAC Systems and BAS (Building Automation Systems)


Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • AX/N4 Certification


Key Responsibilities:

• Field/Office Position – Work required on Projects and remotely from the office.

• Create Control Submittals/Drawings utilizing Visio.

• Support Project Management for ongoing technical support throughout project.

• Attending Project/commissioning meetings.

• Select proper Controllers, Sensors, Valves, and other control components to be utilized on projects.

• Create and implement programming logic in BAS Servers and Field Devices.


Compensation:

This position is paying between $45-$55/hour based on candidates years of experience, certifications, education, etc.
