Plumbing Journeyman Fabrication Shop

That is just the beginning of what we offer here at Comfort Systems USA SouthwestWe are currently seeking a skilled Plumbing Journeyman to join our team.As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing a variety of plumbing tasks in the prefabrication shop. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Responsibilities:Assemble plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local and state plumbing codes.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and configuration of plumbing systems.Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete plumbing projects efficiently and effectively.Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely and effective solutions.Coordinate and collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-trade projects.Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols at all times.Mentor and supervise apprentices and helpers within the prefabrication shop.Provide excellent customer service to field and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.Qualifications:Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification required.Minimum of [3-5] years of experience working as a Journeyman Plumber.Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to work full-time hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the plumbing trade.We also offer- PAID holidaysGenerous Benefits including 401k match.PAID VacationMilitary and Veterans Encouraged to Apply Company outings and events (camping trips, golf, etc.) Pre-Employment drug screen and background check required.M/F/V/H EOE, Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
