Position Overview:
As a Plumbing Journeyman, you will play a crucial role in executing a range of plumbing tasks within our prefabrication environment. We value expertise, technical skill, and a dedication to excellence in workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct plumbing systems and fixtures adhering to local and state plumbing regulations.
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ascertain the layout and configuration of plumbing systems.
- Employ various hand tools, power tools, and equipment to efficiently complete plumbing projects.
- Diagnose plumbing challenges and deliver prompt and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and protocols consistently.
- Guide and oversee apprentices and helpers in the prefabrication shop.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to field teams and foster positive relationships with colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials utilized, and hours logged.
- Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of [3-5] years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber.
- Expertise in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Willingness to work full-time hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth in the plumbing field.
