Metal Working/Tube Bending Position

Overview:

Our client, a leading contract manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components, is seeking an experienced Tube Bender. This role promises a fast-paced and rewarding experience with exciting project opportunities in high-technology industries including space, defense, rail, and aviation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on metal tube bending (primarily aluminum and stainless steel )
- Layout, setup, build, test, and inspect components and assemblies to customer specifications
- Create fixtures from sketches to meet assembly requirements
- Assist in job quoting and development of operation and inspection documents
- Potential involvement in specialty electromechanical assembly
- Read and interpret drawings, follow written instructions, and maintain high attention to detail

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in metal tube bending
- Detail-oriented with the ability to read drawings and follow written instructions
- Welding experience (Preferred, 1 year)
- Ability to commute to: Buffalo, NY 14219 (Required)
- Willingness to relocate to Buffalo, NY 14219 before starting work (Required)

Compensation:
- Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
- Job Type: Full-time
- Expected hours: 40 per week
