Our client is currently seeking a highly experienced Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This role will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting, financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas.

**9 month contract**

Other responsibilities include:

  • Review all balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with preparation and review of financial statements.
  • Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for assigned functional areas.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries into financial systems and document business transactions
  • Train and oversee junior staff.
  • Delegate accounting tasks to junior accounting staff.
  • Coordinate and prepare K-1 report with accounting firm.


Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA and/or master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 10+ years accounting experience required
  • Prior experience training staff
  • Well organized, with strong attention to detail
