The Area Business Development Manager will be accountable for achieving the regional sales and profitability objectives established by business unit leadership. This role will aggressively pursue growth within the regional geography. This role is for sales professionals who thrive in a producer role and are eager and motivated to drive growth through innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directs the selling activities within the region, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions. Prioritizes resources effectively and in accordance with the Regionals objectives.
  • Achieve the region's revenue and profitability targets.
  • Evaluates market trends and gathers competitive information, identifies trends that can affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
  • Forecasting and pipeline management
  • Develop, implement & maintain effective & successful strategies for the company and self-financial growth.
  • Mentor and sales the regionals sales drivers and promote the Road to Success.
  • Develop referrals and contacts to other potential customers in assigned territory.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management.

  • Proven track record of growing sales and overcoming objections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to set and execute sales calls via telephone and in person
  • Ability to translate sales reports, forecasts, and data into tangible information
  • Social adaptability is key
  • Experience selling a service vs product
