Senior Director, People Partner (HRBP)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director, People Partner, to join our dynamic team at SmartBear Software. In this role, you will become a trusted advisor to our leaders, providing strategic guidance and direction on all aspects of P&C.
About the role
As a Senior Director, People Partner, you will be a partner to a broader set of leaders, ensuring a strong and engaged workforce fuels the success of our organization. You will leverage your expertise in P&C to:
- Align P&C with Business Goals: Partner with leadership to ensure that P&C programs directly support achieving business objectives. This includes translating business strategies into actionable people plans and metrics.
- Empower Leaders and Managers: Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, compensation strategies, and building strong relationships with their teams. You will equip managers to be effective people leaders, fostering a culture of high performance and development across the organization.
- Translate Employee Feedback into Action: Analyze employee engagement survey results and collaborate with leadership to develop and implement actionable plans to address key concerns and improve overall engagement.
- Develop Talent Retention Strategies: Partner with P&C and business leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive talent retention strategy, leveraging a variety of levers to create a best-in-class employee experience.
You are a great fit if you have:
- 10+ years of experience in a senior People Partner or HR Business Partner role, preferably within a high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of partnering with business leaders to develop and implement strategic P&C initiatives.
- Strong understanding of performance management and employee relations.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting employee engagement data and translating insights into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Passion for building a positive and inclusive work environment.
