Responsibilities
Applying expertise as a full diagnostic technician to assess and complete complex automotive repairs on components such as electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
Utilize OBD2 Scanners and other diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems.
Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in ongoing training as needed.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to achieve high levels of satisfaction.
Qualifications
10-15+ years prior experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician demonstrating strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals
Physical Requirements
Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
Drive manual transmission vehicles
Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
Efficiently navigate a computer
