Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Psychologist to join our team at Shepard Community Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.  This role is crucial to providing high quality psychological services to children and adolescents in the Indianapolis region.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child psychology and be committed to enhancing the mental well-being of young Hoosiers.  At Shepherd Community Center, the team members along with volunteers are deeply committed to our core values that define the attitude toward the families we serve.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assessment and Diagnosis
  • Complete comprehensive psychological assessments 
  • Collaborate with medical and behavioral health professionals to create integrated care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed 
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes

Qualifications 

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
