**Job Description**

Join our dynamic team as a Fabrication Specialist B, engaging in various technical tasks including machine set-up, machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks. You will be involved in composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly, as well as the assembly of precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components. The role includes assembling, repairing, modifying, and installing various power plants and drive trains, soldering on electronic and avionics products, and installing wire harnesses and avionics products. Additionally, you will prepare test articles, apply routine organic coatings, and work on products of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements. This role requires regular and predictable attendance.

**Hard Skills**

+ Pre Flight- Post Flight troubleshooting

+ Aircraft structural maintenance and repair

+ Knowledge of hand tools and portable power tools

+ Major dispatch services

+ Knowledge of live aerospace vehicle operations

+ Knowledge of aircraft manufacturing maintenance processes

+ Knowledge of quality systems

+ 787 or composite aircraft experience

+ Ability to stand, lift up to 35lbs, and climb stairs

**Soft Skills**

+ Ability to work outside in various weather conditions

+ Adherence to regulatory authorities' rules and regulations

**Job Type**

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in North Charleston, South Carolina.

**Work Environment**

The initial training period may require travel within 15 miles of the primary work site for up to 3 weeks. Following the training period, all screening must be completed and cleared. Failure to meet screening requirements may result in suspension or disqualification from the role.
