Key Role in Managing Avionics, Electrical, and Mechanical Systems

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Aviation Avionics or a related discipline is essential
  • 8 years of experience in Avionics, Electrical, or Mechanical fields
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the verification and performance of aircraft systems
  • Collaborate with Engineering Specialists to develop test plans and checklists
  • Manage daily tasks and ensure adherence to project timelines
  • Allocate team members to off-shifts as necessary
  • Ensure daily accountability and performance tracking of the team
  • Enhance work processes and overall team performance
  • Monitor the resolution of discrepancies and technical drawings

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outside operations, including engine runs
  • Facilitate training and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist in aircraft certification and final phase testing processes

Other Qualifications:

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is preferred
  • Effective communication with team members and support organizations is necessary
  • Daily interaction with Engineering for issue resolution
  • Strong interpersonal skills for addressing individual performance matters
  • Commitment to safe work practices both inside and outside the aircraft
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
