We are looking for a Commercial Lending Administrator to support the Commercial Lending loan portfolio in accordance with bank procedures and regulatory policies. You will recommend procedural changes to increase effectiveness of day-to-day operations while performing various duties such as creation and review of loan application paperwork; provide back-up of other duties within Lending during vacations or absences; and perform any functions within the scope of authority and expertise to provide the highest level of customer service for both internal and external customers.

How you will accomplish this:
  • Prepare and follow-up on loan paperwork
  • Handle customer inquiries, research issues, and resolve timely
  • Perform quality control review of loan documentation and loan set up for compliance with regulatory and bank policies
  • Process and monitor insurance renewals and forced place insurance
  • Assist with scanning and indexing documentation to imaging system
  • Review, maintain, and report loan product rate changes as needed
  • Prepare various reports on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Process construction loan transactions including advances, inspections and conversions
  • Data entry into various Commercial Lending systems
  • Perform as back up for HMDA reporting and review
  • Work closely with attorneys, accountants, appraisers, and any other third-party vendors
  • Filing and retrieval of files for audits and as needed
  • Assist with Consumer lending duties as needed
  • Comply with all Bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as needed/assigned
What you will bring to the role:
  • High School diploma and minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in financial industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Advanced PC knowledge including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel a must); ability to grasp new technology concepts and ideas quickly
  • Knowledge of banking industry, products, lending practices and regulatory and compliance guidelines a plus
  • An understanding of the fundamentals of Loan Operations processing a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines, while also working professionally and effectively in a team environment
