Quality Control Technician

Our client, a nationwide food manufacturer, has an immediate need for an experienced Quality Control Technician, to join their winning team in Secaucus.



Our candidate of choice will ensure the quality of raw materials, in process products and finished goods and perform required quality tests for raw materials and finished products while recording accurate data in a timely manner. Maintain, organize, and schedule raw material samples for testing and conduct appropriate evaluations.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for monitoring and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
Daily duties include the inspection of raw materials, monitoring production processes and the evaluation of finished products.
Ensure that testing equipment is accurately calibrated and functioning properly.
Monitor product weight, codes, labeling, and perform quality control checks and record data.
Responsible for performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other areas required.



KEY REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma required
Three years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality control testing procedures.
Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a plus.
