Our team is passionate about creating relationships that lead to transformation—and we’re looking for a Business Director who shares that heart. About the Role The Business Director is a key leader at First Glance, responsible for ensuring the sustainability, efficiency, and overall health of the organization. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on management, overseeing operations, finances, staff support, and compliance—all while keeping our mission at the center. You’ll work closely with the Executive Director, staff, and Board of Directors to ensure First Glance remains financially strong, operationally sound, and mission‑driven. What You’ll Do Lead and support staff through coaching, clear communication, and development Oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure organizational systems are strong and effective Manage financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting alongside the Executive Director and Board Treasurer Oversee payroll, benefits, and nonprofit compliance Maintain and improve facilities, technology, and risk management practices Support fundraising efforts through grant tracking, donor reporting, and event budgeting Represent First Glance in the community and participate in at least one weekly program to stay connected to our mission Who You Are You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, finance, or a related field—or have equivalent experience You bring at least 3 years of leadership and management experience (HR experience preferred) You’re financially savvy, with proven experience in budgeting, accounting, and reporting You’re organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working with a team You’re familiar with nonprofit operations, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Most importantly, you have a heart for ministry and want your work to make an eternal impact Full‑time, exempt position Reports to the Executive Director Requires occasional evenings or weekends for programs or events If you’re a mission‑minded leader who loves creating structure, supporting people, and helping an organization thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
