At Accord we care deeply about quality of life and helping our patients and their loved one manage the end of life process. Our reputation speaks for it self and we are committed to providing quality and compassionate care during some of the most tender moments in life.
Hospice RNs typically visit patients during regular business hours, M-F 8-5pm. Schedules are flexible. Interdisciplinary training meetings are held every other Wednesday. Compensation is based on experience. RNs work under the direction of the Medical Director and the Clinical Director.
Job Duties: RNs assess the patient's condition, educate the family/caregiver and help with the management of pain and symptom control. RNs case manage and coordinate efforts throughout the interdisciplinary team of therapists, chaplains, social workers, C.N.A.s and volunteers.
