Sterile Processing Manager

Job Description Work Schedule: This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Be part of something remarkable Join our leadership team at the 1 hospital in Wisconsin We are seeking a Sterile Processing Manager : Responsible for Sterile Processing operations at University Hospital to include expanding the department and hospital, human resources operations, and budgeting. Work as an integral team member with Surgical Services, Infection Control, Risk Management and Safety departments. Responsible for operating a highly complex department, functioning under the scrutiny of medical professionals, regulatory bodies and Federal and State laws. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Required Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Operations or related field Preferred Work Experience 5 years of progressively responsible lead work, supervisory, or management experience in Sterile Processing or Surgical Services Required 7 years of experience managing a Sterile Processing department and/or materials/inventory management department Preferred EPIC/Healthlink Experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications Professional Sterile Processing Certification (CRCST or CSPDT) Upon Hire Required Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) certification Preferred Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion UW Health is committed to being a diverse, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
