SGI Global is seeking a Human Resources - Service Support Specialist (Talent Acquisition) to support a government client.

Duties/Responsibilities

* Attend meetings with HR staff and managers to discuss status of HR requests and understand priorities of issues.

* Review classified position descriptions to develop and/or validate job analysis and job assessments/questionnaires.

* Develop and use valid assessments for vacancy announcements.

* Develop specialized experience descriptions for the vacancy announcement.

* Prepare vacancy announcements using USA Staffing to post announcements on USAJobs.

* Field questions from managers, staff, and applicants about the recruitment activity.

* Review applications, verify eligibility, complete qualifications analysis, referral, BQ determination.

* Use USA Staffing to issue notices to applicants, annotate qualifications, prepare certificates, and document selections.

* Obtain necessary pre-employment documents such as OF-306, transcripts, resumes, DD-214s, etc.

* Research and respond to questions and offer alternatives on staffing and recruitment questions.

* Identify sources of job applicants and candidates; determine appropriate staffing methods to identify job candidates.

* Keep HR Operations Staffing Leadership informed of commitments made and progress of individual cases.

* Applying knowledge of OPM's hiring programs which include, but not limited to: noncompetitive hiring authorities for Schedule A, 30% Disabled Veterans, VEOA, VRA, Peace Corp, Interchange Agreements, LMWFA, PLC, PMF, etc.); use of delegated examining and use of the merit promotion program in both internal and external recruitment, placement and staffing activities.

* Adjudicate veterans' preference and/or training or advising HR staff in veterans' adjudication.

* Utilize a federal automated staffing system to manage the application, referral and selection process.

* Provide necessary hiring information to HR Assistants to process personnel actions.

Minimum Requirements

* A minimum of 3-5 years' experience with Federal human resources.

* Bachelor's degree
