Amotec is currently looking for 2nd and 3rd shift Controls Technicians for our client, a privately held global manufacturer in the automotive industry. The Controls Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical controls and making programming adjustments to PLCs, HMIs, and robots. Key Responsibilities:

Programming and maintaining industrial robots to perform tasks like welding, assembly, or material handling.
Writing, modifying, and maintaining programs for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure efficient operation of manufacturing equipment.
Responding to equipment malfunctions, diagnosing problems, and performing repairs to minimize downtime.



Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Controls technician, or similar role
