Job Title: General Production Assembly

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st shift assembler. You will use hand tools and power tools to assemble vinyl and plastic shutters. You will utilize a tape measure to ensure accuracy and perform general labor duties, including lifting shutter components, placing them on a roller assembly line, and using an automatic screw gun. Typically, these items weigh 25 pounds or less, but for larger items, you will work in teams of 3-6 to buddy lift them onto the assembly line. Additional responsibilities include palletizing orders and maintaining cleanliness of the line (sweeping, dusting, etc.).
Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 5am-3:30pm. During the summer, you may work half days on Fridays depending on workloads. Expect more workload during the summer due to increased construction activities. Overtime is available on Fridays during the spring and summer.

Work Environment

This is a large, well-lit facility with multiple assembly lines. The facility employs about 50 to 60 employees and is very clean and climate-controlled. Closed-toed shoes (no steel-toed), safety glasses, and hearing protection are required.
