Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - OB/GYNLocation: Weston, WisconsinBe part of the growing Women's Health Center The Surgical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides patient services under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to the Nurse Practitioner Protocol and within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner License in the State of Wisconsin. The role ensures continuity between clinical practice and standards of care, promotes patient preparation for discharge, and collaborates with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other health care disciplines using a team approach.Responsibilities include:Providing patient services under physician collaborationMaintaining continuity of care and promoting discharge readinessCollaborating with interdisciplinary team membersResponding to calls (1 weekend per month; 1:5 rotation frequency)Qualifications:EducationMinimum: Master's Degree in Nursing or graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant ProgramPreferred: NoneExperienceMinimum: NonePreferred: One to two years’ experience in specialty nursingCertifications / LicensesCurrent State of Wisconsin Nurse License or Nurse Compact License and Nurse Practitioner Licensure or Certification (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)Current DEA LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire (preferred at time of hire)Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location)Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary4 weeks of vacationCME annual allowance and timeHealth, dental, life, disability, and occurrence-based malpractice insuranceRelocation supportMarshfield Clinic Health System is a Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
