CNA 1 – Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, day shift opening (6:30am-7:00am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.
Extra Incentives:
- Evening shift differential – $ 2.25 p/hr
- Night shift differential – $4.00 p/hr
- $4,000 hiring bonus offered for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

In this position you will:
- Contribute to a high functioning team
- Meaningfully advance post-operative recovery of surgical patients.
- Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights
- Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests
- Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices
- Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference
- Other duties as assigned
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides non-professional direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan.

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of certification course for Nursing Assistants
- Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in nursing home or hospital experience.
