Position Overview

Join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Medical Surgical Unit. This role involves working part-time during the day, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively within a dedicated healthcare team
  • Support the recovery process of surgical patients
  • Assist Registered Nurses with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Monitor and document vital signs and patient metrics
  • Collect samples and conduct basic blood tests
  • Facilitate patient mobility and transfers safely
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional growth opportunities
  • Perform additional duties as required

The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in delivering direct patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, adhering to established care plans.

Qualifications Required:

  • Completion of a certified Nursing Assistant training program.
  • Valid Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of Oregon.

  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or hospital.
