Lexington, United States Mimecast North America, Inc. Full time

The Product Marketing Organization is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager to champion engagement, enablement, and awareness with our Technical Alliance and Channel Partners. This role will closely partner with our Alliance, Channel, and Product teams and will require an action-oriented marketer who can easily distill technical details into unique value propositions, define and build a compelling content and enablement strategy to help us grow our product and marketplace presence. This role must be comfortable as an individual contributor, as well as leading key marketing and technical stakeholders to promote and integrate the value of our platform across the entire ecosystem of partners. You will apply your deep cross-functional marketing skill sets and expertise in the cybersecurity industry tech stack to grow global engagement, pipeline, and revenue. This is a highly visible and strategic role across the company; you will work closely with senior stakeholders from Partner & Regional Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and other organizations to deliver compelling content and engaging partner experiences. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in forming relevant relationships with peers at our technology alliance vendors, contributing to strategic marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue through partnerships and alliances within the technology ecosystem. Attention to detail, an eye for quality, and the desire to deliver, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, is crucial. Key Responsibilities: Deliver and execute content plans tailored to goal achievement for key technology alliance partners. Work closely with the Tech Alliance team, sales, and product to align strategies with product roadmap objectives. Ensure a cohesive approach to market Mimecast solutions through partners. Participate in partners' industry events, joint webinars, and conferences in collaboration with alliance partners. Oversee the creation of compelling thought leadership content such as white papers, blog posts, and website copy highlighting the strengths and benefits of our joint alliances. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics relative to technology alliances. Essential Skills and Experience: Minimum 10+ years experience in cybersecurity marketing in high-growth B2B SaaS enterprise software and services company. Understanding of the strategy behind technology alliance and partner marketing. Demonstrated familiarity with the cybersecurity ecosystem. Ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be a motivated, self-starter who can work independently but also has a proper sense about when to check in with manager and key stakeholders. Outstanding communicator with the ability to translate complexity. Must have excellent judgment and be able to work in a changing environment. This position isn't just about repeating the current playbook. We want someone who will come in with fresh ideas and new thinking, including using emerging technologies and platforms to drive business results. Be passionate about high-impact pivotal initiatives. DEI Statement: Cybersecurity is a community effort. That's why we're committed to building an inclusive, diverse community that celebrates and welcomes everyone - unless they're a cybercriminal, of course. We're proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer, and we'd encourage you to join us whatever your background. We particularly welcome applicants from traditionally underrepresented groups. We consider everyone equally: your race, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, marital status, nationality, or any other protected characteristic won't affect your application. If you require any adjustments or accommodations due to a disability or any other reason that may help you in your interview process, please let us know by emailing careers@mimecast.com. Due to certain obligations to our customers, an offer of employment will be subject to your successful completion of applicable background checks, conducted in accordance with local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
