Job Summary

The VP Director, Data Analytics will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our data analytics and digital initiatives. This role will oversee the development and implementation of data-driven strategies that enhance our marketing efforts, optimize customer engagement, and drive business growth. The VP will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our digital strategies are aligned with our overall business objectives. In this hybrid role, you will be expected to spend a minimum of 2 days per week on-site at a Calcium+Company office or client location.

Key Job Responsibilities

(Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and lead the Company’s data analytics and digital strategy to support business goals and enhance competitive advantage.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align data analytics and digital initiatives with overall company strategy.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the Company remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
  2. Data Analytics:
    • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to inform strategic decisions.
    • Develop and implement advanced analytics models to improve marketing performance and customer insights.
    • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  3. Digital Strategy:
    • Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversion.
    • Work closely with our Engagement Strategists and optimize digital channels to enhance user experience and achieve marketing objectives.
    • Implement and manage marketing automation tools and platforms to streamline and enhance digital marketing efforts.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data analysts, digital marketers, and strategists.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve their professional goals and deliver outstanding results.
  5. Performance Measurement:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of data analytics and digital initiatives.
    • Regularly report on performance and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
    • Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement based on performance data.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with client IT, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of data analytics and digital strategies.
    • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and agencies to enhance capabilities and deliver innovative solutions.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, digital strategy, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in data analytics tools and platforms (e.g. Looker Studio, Tableau, SQL).
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo).
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare marketing industry is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ability and approach to team building.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Must be able to work on-site a minimum of 2 days per week in a Calcium+Company office or client location.
