Job Title: Data Analytics Implementation Manager

At rockITdata, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Implementation Manager to join our rapidly growing team. As a key member of our Data and Analytics team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in executing data-driven initiatives from planning through delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Scoping: Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for data and analytics initiatives. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Team Management and Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams of full stack data analysts, data engineers, solution architects, data scientists, and subject matter experts. Coordinate and facilitate communication between team members and client stakeholders.
  • Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Oversee the development and implementation of analytical models and reporting solutions. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to define analytical requirements and methodologies.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines, quality, or costs. Develop and implement contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Establish effective communication channels with project stakeholders and sponsors. Provide regular project status updates and progress reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing data and analytics projects end-to-end, with disciplined scope and budget management processes.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data modeling, and data analytics techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
  • Working knowledge of database management concepts and technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Participation in the implementation of complex data and analytics solutions for Government or Commercial clients in Pharma, Biotech, CPG, Retail, or Manufacturing industries.
  • Strong client and partner networks.
