Medical Device NPD Project Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager to work in office in St. Petersburg, FL, with interest in the medical device development engineering industry. The ideal candidate has experience with New Product Development for electromechanical devices. This is a 12-24 month long W2 contract position with possible additional extensions.
Job Summary:
This person will be the direct and critical link to our OEM customers and our Business Unit team and will be responsible for developing/managing budgets, schedules and design documentation for frequent status update reporting and tracking.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work 40 hours per week (M-F) in St. Petersburg, FL, and does not require sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of Project Management experience with electromechanical devices from an early concept stage to manufacturing launch.
- Recent working experience in a regulated industry such as Medical Device (highly preferred), Aviation, Automotive product development
- Experience managing a project through its life cycle (additional experience transitioning a product form Design to Manufacturing is a plus).
- Demonstrated experience managing design projects as part of a contract design and engineering organization is desired.
- Any working experience with ISO or CFR standards is a plus
- Previous New Product Introduction Experience is a plus
- PM experience with a prototyping team is a plus
