PVESC has a current opening for a full-time (or part-time) surgical sterile processing / instrument technician for our busy surgery department. Our surgery department has five board-certified surgeons, two board-certified neurologists, and a board-certified anesthesiologist, specializing in soft tissue, orthopedic, laparoscopic, and neurosurgery. Maintaining a high set of standards and procedures, the sterile processing technician plays a vital role in preventing infection by sterilizing, cleaning, processing, assembling, storing, and distributing surgical packs and surgical supplies. Veterinary experience is beneficial but not necessary, sterile processing experience is necessary.
