POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting and evaluating products or services to ensure they meet defined quality standards and specifications. They play a key role in maintaining and improving overall product or service quality and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct visual inspections and measurements on products or components to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
  • Enter data on quality records according to established procedures.
  • Report findings in real-time to the Production process and ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve the quality issue.
  • Participate in root causes analysis of quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to address and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide training to production and other relevant personnel on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product or service quality and efficiency.
  • Create Work Instructions according to Quality Management System Procedures.
  • Other duties and responsibilities that may be added or assigned by management.


COMPETENCIES

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.


Experience: 2+ years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
