Pediatric Home Service is seeking a self-motivated and results driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to support all of the private duty nursing service line with their recruiting needs. This challenging and fulfilling position is responsible for working with the management team in implementing the recruitment strategy company wide.

  • Location: Wichita, KS
  • Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Shift : 8am - 5pm

POSITION SUMMARY

Executes candidate pipeline and intake management to the service line. In partnership with service line and TA leadership, contributes to the development of recruitment and social media strategy to provide adequate staffing levels for current and potential needs. The goal of the position is to identify and acquire talent to achieve service line goals and objectives of providing maximum staffing levels and accepting all appropriate referrals.

  • Coordinates and executes recruitment functions for the service line in coordination with relevant partners to achieve performance goals. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Being knowledgeable of current and future staffing needs
    • Reaching qualified candidates through recruitment initiatives and campaigns
    • Developing pool of qualified candidates
    • Leverages current and past database of applicants to identify potential candidates for current openings
    • Creates and maintains an up to date online presence for all assigned openings on sites including but not limited to the company website, national and regional job boards, state workforce boards and local sites as needed
    • Assesses for and executes additional recruitment steps for both specific openings and proactive recruitment including but not limited to online and print campaigns, paid advertising, utilizing resume databases and internal sources.
    • Maintains and monitors social media presence for assigned branches; promotes interaction with current and potential employees, clients, and community resources
    • Assist in coordinating job fairs, speaking engagements, and introductions between assigned branches and local nursing schools or other community resources who can promote employment or services with PHS; attends events as needed and appropriate
    • Acts as the first point of contact for interested candidates throughout the hiring and onboard process, communicating and handing off candidate to the hiring manager as appropriate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment required
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Human Resources or related field
