Position Summary:

In this non-clinical position the Project Administrator:

  • Collaborates with executive team members to determine and prioritize departmental strategies, as well as scheduling, planning, and coordinating meetings.
  • Manages the calendars and time commitments of the Senior Directors.
  • Represents the offices of the Senior Directors in interactions with colleagues, clients, and consultants.
  • Creates long and short term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Identifies, captures, and achieves, operational and strategic improvement opportunities.
  • Advances organizational performance by utilizing a systems approach to analyzing processes, building relationships and facilitating change.
  • Supports and facilitates organizational efforts for business process improvement, change management, system redesign and integration, and solutions development
  • Provides staff support in planning and organizing cross-functional unit and cross-entity activities and committees.

Education:

Bachelor's required. Master's degree in Business, Health Administration or other relevant field is preferred.

Work Experience:

Three years of health care or project management experience required. Consultant or operations experience strongly desired

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficient in spreadsheet, database, presentation and word processing software.
  • Knowledge of finance, quality management, customer service theory, planning and administrative theory.
  • Clinical or health operations experience preferred.
  • Interpersonal skill, written and oral communication to interface across the organization. Analytical ability to identify and illustrate relationships among complex activities. Facilitation skills for meeting management.
