Business Unit Sales Manager - Engineering and Products ***Job Description*** **P****osition Summary** The successful Engineering/Products/Manufactured Parts Sales Manager will be a heavily sales and customer oriented individual. The position will focus on outside sales and will be responsible for qualifying business opportunities and helping to develop sales proposals for our Engineering and Products businesses. The position requires an engineering background as well as highly developed sales skills and experience. **P****r****i****nciple Duties and Responsibilities** * Qualify and develop sales leads, in close collaboration with Marketing as well as other Sales staff. * Work with prospects to fully understand their needs and in some cases develop an engineering services plan to address their needs. * Work with inside-sales staff as well as Engineering and Products staff to develop proposals. * Move qualified leads through the sales funnel, negotiating directly with clients to close sales. * Plan sales activities in close collaboration with the Marketing Manager, the Chief Operating Officer, and product staff, including yearly and quarterly sales plans and goals. * Assist with review of press releases, advertisements, sales literature, and related marketing materials as it relates to the Engineering/Products business unit sales. * Attend conferences and other sales related events. * Various other sales related tasks as assigned. **E****ducation and Experience** * A four-year Engineering degree from an accredited institution, or a related technical * Five years of relevant technical sales experience with engineering services and engineering products in a turbomachinery industry (compressors, fans, blowers, turbines, gas turbines, or related equipment). * Experience writing technical proposals is highly desirable. **A****bilities**: * A mature team player with a consistently positive outlook when dealing with clients, internal colleagues, and senior managemen * The ability to work independently, with a self-starting, get-it-done mindset. * Professionalism consistent with the Concepts NREC corporate culture of treating others with respect - regardless of their background or status or position. * A strong customer (both internal and external) focus and consistent follow through on commitments. * Strong time management skills with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Su * Proficiency with Hubspot or other CRM software. * A broad-based technical foundation with a solid basis in business fundamentals. * An energetic, proactive, career-oriented approach with the desire and ability to advance within Concepts NREC. **Ot****her Considerations**: * Frequent travel visiting clients is required (including occasional overseas travel). * Relocation assistance may be offered, depending upon individual circumstances. ***Basic Qualifications*** * A four-year Engineering degree from an accredited institution, or a related technical * Five years of relevant technical sales experience with engineering services and engineering products in a turbomachinery industry (compressors, fans, blowers, turbines, gas turbines, or related equipment). * Experience writing technical proposals is highly desirable.
