The role of the Biomedical Equipment Field Technician is to perform the best customer-service experience for the installation, service, and testing of complex medical devices in a hospital setting, following stringent real-time patient-data requirements.

*MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:*

* Willingness and ability to travel 80-100% of the time (depending on market)
* Comply with protocols for communicating status and issues related to work orders
* Complete tasks on scheduled date and within a specified timeframe
* Provide world-class customer service in onsite and digital customer communications
* Offer onsite service training and education to customer’s biomedical technicians
* Provide management with feedback and ideas for continuous improvement
* Being a valued part of a diverse and dynamic team

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

* High school degree or equivalent
* Strong interest in regional and national travel (depending on market)
* Experience using standard office equipment such as computers and smartphones
* Experience using medical test equipment and hand tools
* Experience working with ventilators preferred
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
* Experience with CRMs such as Salesforce is a plus
* Professional manner, appearance, and discretion in engaging customer
* Satisfactory background check including state-specific requirements (e.g., fingerprinting)
* Compliance with client-specific requirements (e.g., immunizations, PPE)
* Reliable transportation for coverage area
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Clean background check and clear drug screen
* Self-guided and able to work independently
* Strong organizational skills

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:*

* Carry and monitor company phone, be available and responsive during scheduled and non-scheduled hours, except during rest and meal periods as required by applicable state law
* Flexible in working hours as this position will require customer support during non-regular business hours, mandatory overtime on short notice, and/or weekend work as necessary
* Lift carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, with assistance available
* Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, and extended reach
* Regular grasping and repetitive hand movements.
