Winergy is seeking a potential candidate that is capable of learning new skills on the job in a unique field. As a government contractor, we are looking for someone who is willing to travel to various clients located around the country. Job Duties:

  • Inspect, test, and certify various hospital and research equipment including:
    • Biological safety cabinets (BSCs)
    • Chemical fume hoods
    • Laminar Airflow Workstations
    • HEPA filters
    • Pharmacy clean rooms
  • Test, balance and certify negative pressure isolation rooms as well as positive pressure protective environments.
  • Provide guidance to inpatient pharmacy managers and develop solutions when testing problems arise.
  • Conduct pharmacy personnel testing.

Job Expectations:

Winergy team members are challenged in a unique environment that demands on-the-spot critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Our clients expect Winergy to not only test and certify critical equipment and environments, but also to help them solve issues that arise within their systems. Our team members not only play an integral role as a technician, but also have the drive to seek out new clients and prepare proposals and bids for new opportunities. If selected, you will also gain critical skills in small business development and expansion. We believe in developing our team members. The selected candidate should be prepared for intense on the-job training in hospitals, pharmacies, and medical research buildings for approximately 13 weeks.

Winergy technicians are willing to travel to locations throughout the US up to 14 days per month. The trips are typically not consecutive but are usually 1-4 days in length.

Required Qualifications:

  • Resides near or willingness to relocate to Dallas, TX after training in Chicago, IL.
  • Strong technical aptitude. Applicants with experience in testing, repairing or troubleshooting equipment or systems are preferred.
  • Accurate documentation and technical writing ability
  • Good critical-thinking, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Shows an eagerness and desire to learn
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record
  • Ability to steadily lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Ability to effectively use hand tools commonly associated with the repair and maintenance of medical equipment
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret technical documentation including, but not limited to wiring and equipment schematics
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office applications – especially Excel.
  • Loves to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer a degree with majors in biomedical technology, environmental science, biology or a similar concentration. Candidates with training in other technical fields, as well as the field of business with minors in the above degrees will also be considered. While a 4-year degree is not a requirement, greater consideration will be given to those that meet this qualification.
  • CETA Certification and/or NSF Certification – preferred, but not required.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salaried position with bonus structure for out-of-town and extended work time. High potential to earn $70K to $95K after initial 90 day reduced rate probationary period.
  • Achieving the CETA certification will provide employee with a $6,000 bonus and $6,000 salary increase. Achieving the NSF certification will provide employee with a $4,000 bonus and $4,000 salary increase.
  • 40+ hours a week & some weekends required
