Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, evaluate, and certify a variety of medical and research equipment, including:
    • Biological safety cabinets
    • Chemical fume hoods
    • Laminar airflow workstations
    • HEPA filters
    • Pharmacy clean rooms
  • Assess and certify both negative pressure isolation rooms and positive pressure protective environments.
  • Provide expert guidance to pharmacy managers and devise solutions for testing challenges.
  • Conduct testing for pharmacy personnel.

Expectations:

Team members at Winergy face unique challenges that require critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Our clients rely on us not only to test and certify vital equipment but also to assist in resolving issues within their systems. Our technicians play a crucial role in client relations, actively seeking new opportunities and preparing proposals for potential projects. Selected candidates will undergo comprehensive on-the-job training in various healthcare settings.

Winergy technicians are expected to travel throughout the U.S. for up to 14 days each month, with trips typically lasting between 1 to 4 days.

Required Qualifications:

  • Willingness to relocate after training.
  • Strong technical skills, with preference given to those with experience in equipment testing, repair, or troubleshooting.
  • Ability to document and write technical reports accurately.
  • Excellent critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. consistently.
  • Proficiency with hand tools used in medical equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, including schematics.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • A passion for travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in biomedical technology, environmental science, biology, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with technical training in other areas or business with relevant minors will also be considered.
  • CETA and/or NSF certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • This is a salaried position with a bonus structure for travel and extended work hours, with potential earnings ranging from $70K to $95K after the initial probationary period.
  • Achieving CETA certification offers a $6,000 bonus and salary increase, while NSF certification provides a $4,000 bonus and salary increase.
  • 40+ hours per week, with some weekend work required.
  • Paid holidays and time off.
  • Health insurance reimbursement and 401K benefits.
